What is Singapore stamp duty?
Stamp duty is a tax levied on certain legal documents in Singapore — including lease and tenancy agreements. The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) collects it via the e-Stamping system. By law the duty must be paid within 14 days of execution for documents signed in Singapore (30 days if signed overseas). This tool files every tenancy as signed in Singapore, so it always works to the 14-day deadline.
